Who this covers

What we collect
Your name, email address, and password (stored securely, never in readable form). Your business details. And what you and your staff record in Merchander about orders, stock, payments, customers, and suppliers.
How we use it
To run Merchander for you: to sign you in, show your business information, send the emails you ask for such as confirmation codes and staff invites, keep the service secure, and fix problems.
AI assistance
Where AI features are offered, they only suggest actions for you to approve. We will have an agreement with the AI provider that protects your customers' information before real customer conversations are sent to it.
Who can see your information
Each business's information is kept separate from every other business. You and the staff you invite can see it, within the access you give them. Our platform team sees only limited details such as when an account was created and whether setup is complete, and sees more only when you approve support access for a limited time.
Service providers
We use providers to host the service, store data, and send email. They may handle information only to provide those services to us. Payment provider credentials are encrypted when stored.

Security

Merchander uses a small number of cookies that it needs to work: to keep you signed in, to remember your chosen business, and to remember your light or dark theme setting. It does not use advertising cookies.

Merchander is for businesses and is not meant for children under 18.
